jorgenajera aka Jorge Nájera

Born in Mexico City, after obtaining his degree as Mechanical Engineer Jorge went to Milan where he obtained a Master Degree in design at Scuola Politecnica di Design. He worked from 1997 to 2003 at Denis Santachiara Design Office. In 2004 he established his own studio and start collaborating with other companies such as Slidedesign and ILS Collection.

“Hi, my name is Jakub Mikuláštík and I am a designer, who fell in love with art, design, cinema, blues, chocolate, whiskey, Haruki Murakami´s novels and pistachios… I was born and raised in a village called Vlčnov, Czech Republic and I am interested in product design, graphic design and Japanese crafts. For more information about me you can visit my blog: jmikulastik.tumblr.com .”

nickbaker aka Nicholas Baker

“I am a designer. I am a minimalist. I am a craftsman. I am a problem solver. I strive to perfect every detail and I love playing Ping-Pong. I also have red hair, which is kind of awesome, but beside the point. I am a very passionate designer. Furniture, household products, cars, graphics—I do it all. I strive to be innovative. I try to be clever. I aim for that why didn’t I think of that? moment and I create the perfect balance of function and aesthetic. “Two young and creative students, soon architects. Our work is a result of a multi-international experience, together we have explored 6 countries: France, Canada, Latvia, Scotland, Czech Republic and Netherlands. Each of these countries added something new to our way of thinking.
